ellen is just as fun close up, i got to witness it first hand because i was in the front row! i got to see simon cowell and jack johnson so that was really exciting, and i know for a fact ellen and i made eye contact ;o).
another piece of exciting news is that i found out last week i was accepted in to the master's program for elementary education at USC! come september i will be making a complete change; from retired, to working and going to school. i really never imagined i would want to go back to school, but i feel so ready!
after a long walk by myself today i couldn't help but think how blessed we are. i feel blessed each and every day, but some days it just hits me that we are living out our dreams together! our life has been so exciting these last 5 months, and i can't wait to see what the future holds!
p.s. i am aware that i am a total over user of exclamation marks, but i'm just so excited all the time!

You are so awesome! It is so great to see people happy with what they are doing AND recognizing they are fortunate to be able to do it! Sometimes that gets lost on us, I think. Glad you had fun at Ellen - wish I would have watched that day! Congrats on grad school, too! :) Have a great week and thanks for sharing!!!
