the world of jewish orthodoxism...

so october has been the first month that i've had to work 5 days a week consistently... i know, bummer right??  there are so many things i have come to love about this more than ideal schedule.  i leave for work at 11:45 and get home at about 4:45.  i also have two friends that i teach with that live in our neighborhood, so i only have to drive twice a week!  my favorite thing about this job is, of course, the girls.  i have 20 girls in my class, and they are just perfect (for the most part).  they are so loving and precious, i love going everyday if for no other reason than the hugs!  i thought i'd share one of my favorite quotes to date.

while doing the calendar on a friday morning...

mrs. t:  if today is friday, what does that make tomorrow?

class: shabbos!

mrs. t:  some people also call shabbos saturday.

suri:  i know saturday, because my mom says that to the maid!!

i'd say it's a slightly different school dynamic than i'm used to, but i love it.  i'm learning so much, and it's really interesting!

i've had a request from a loyal reader :) so here's one example of something i wear to work.
