recipe for a perfect saturday.

we are officially "those" people.  "those" people who wake up every saturday morning to go garage sale-ing.  i'm not even sure how this all started, but what i do know is that we both get so excited to pick up a bagel and a coffee, and hit the road!  the great part about it is that in LA no one wakes up early, so if you're scouting at around 9:00, you're in perfect shape. the other great part is that we've been able to see so much of the city while we hunt for bargains.  they are few and far between, but when you find one, the feeling is oh so good!

five vintage patterns for five bucks, i'll take 'em!  hopefully i will actually put them to use someday ;o).

probably our favorite thing we've found so far.  snagged the decanter for $5!

total deal of the day, $1 for this book!  besides its cool look, it's the true story of king henry the eighth and all of his wives.  i'm excited to see how it compares to the boleyn series.

best thing to do after running around the city all morning?  relax and play a little cards ;o).
