we are alive and well!!

... mostly.  we have had the busiest three weeks!  now that we napped for almost two solid days we are slightly resembling our old selves again!  our lives lately have been filled with so much love that we haven't minded the fact that we've been meeting ourselves coming and going.

it all started with an overnight visit from jay and kristen, and of course baby vincent!!  we had a great time showing them a little bit of our LA lives, and were sad to see them go.  we're excited to catch up on some vincent snuggles again very soon :o).  can you believe i have not one picture to document this?? sad day.

j and k left sunday and we had just a few days to get ourselves together for our trip to san diego for the herig/ hardin wedding (also for the turri/ sorenson family reunion!!).  we packed up and got on the road early wednesday morning, and got to san diego just in time for ry to leave for vegas with the dudes.  nothing like 14 hours in the car in two days, huh?  

while ry and kurt bachelor-ed it up, d and i got to spend some quality time with her "san diego family."  they were such great hosts, cooks, and most of all break- dancers!  one of the highlights of our night for sure.  wonder how it compared with vegas ;o).

next it was d and i's turn to get bachelorette-ing!  we had a great night out on the town in san diego (even if our feet hurt and we felt old and tired).  actually maybe that was mostly me ;o), but i still had a great time!

next up came the rehearsal lunch.  tug and jo spoiled everyone with great food and an even better view!

 we were so happy to get to be a part of all of the wedding festivities!

i have yet to mention that we had the pleasure of bunking up with the sorenson's at the amazing sunset villas.  this was the location for the wedding, and we felt so blessed as we woke up to the sound of waves each morning!  thank you so much tug and jo for always including us and making us feel like family ;o).

one of the most amazing things about this trip was getting to "live" with dani and kurt and their girls for four days!  it was so fun to get to be a part of each other's everyday lives, and especially fun to love on their little ones!!

oh how we love our sorenson family!!

and it doesn't stop there...

we got home from san diego sunday night, and had monday to recover before we headed out to vegas.  my mom spent the weekend there with her sisters, then ry and i went out to fetch her.  we spent the night with her and planned on heading back early-ish wednesday.  the pina coladas and the horse races got the better of us ;o).

this was old school, you put actual quarters into the game to bet!  we loved it, old school is how we roll.

we got home late wednesday night and kept the fun going with my mom until saturday.  it was so great to get to have her here, and just enjoy all those visiting moments that we don't get enough of.  again... no photo documentation!!

we're just now finally rested up, and ready for our road trip home!  see all of you lovely new mexcians soon!!
