on january 27, 2007 ryan and i kissed for the very first time. and apparently if you were at dustin & rebecca's wedding reception, you saw us!!
after this night, we took it slow- like we only saw each other three times that first week. that week was the only time that ever happened, we've seen each other just about every day since then ;o).
from then on, our relationship was on the fast track, we both knew that this was the real thing. ryan was supposed to move to new york, he had an apartment and a job all set up. i tried to act really supportive and told him i would never want him to look back and regret anything. i'll never forget the night he said to me "i'm not moving to new york. if i do, i'll be spending every day wishing i were back here with you." he got no argument from me ;o).
3 months later we moved in to our first apartment at la mirage. 8 months after that we got engaged. 4 months after that we bought our first house. 2 months after that we were married. things settled down until the following september when we sold our house to get ready to move to LA! 4 months later we moved in to our first apartment in LA, oakwood. we liked it for a while, but made a major upgrade 6 months later.
that brings us to tonight... 8 1/2 months pregnant and waiting patiently to meet our precious baby boy. we went out to dinner to celebrate how amazing these last 5 years have been, and then we were excited to come home and put the finishing touches on the mobile for baby t's room.
what a difference 5 years can make. but good things really do get better with time :o).
