our new year's eve bash for two looked a little something like this. (please excuse the iPhone pics, i really need to learn how to use our camera when there's no natural light. i guess it could be one of my new year's resolutions...)
sliders with bacon, sauteed onion and cheese. sliders are party food at its finest.
we love to cook burgers in this little skillet. probably not the healthiest way, but definitely increases the yum factor. and this skillet was ryan's great grandma's (gg's). that may be another reason why everything we cook in here comes out delicious, there's lots of love already baked in :o).
we actually partied hard with a bottle of martinelli's and ended up staying up until midnight! there is something fun about being able to kiss your special someone as the ball drops ;o).
we've made it our new year's day tradition to make fresh pasta. i really shouldn't say 'we'- homemade pasta is all ryan. i just get to reap the benefits.
pasta bolognese was a perfect way to ring in this new year.
we are so incredibly excited to bring in 2012, the year that our precious baby boy will be born. we feel so blessed to spend another year together, and are so excited for all of the changes this year will bring!
