a few firsts.

max has had so many firsts in the past 17 days! there's no way to document them all, but here's just a taste...

first swing.

first bath. not such a big fan, but it's getting better and better! his umbilical cord fell off yesterday, so we're excited to give him a bath where he can actually splash around!

first moby ride with dad :o).

first signature. happy birthday kurt!!

first tummy time with dad.

first manicure ;o).

first doctor appointment. he actually didn't cry! this is his 'having fun' face.

first family outing. ry was in a comedy show last night, so max and i accompanied him to the rehearsal :o). max was so excited that he did a major blowout, full outfit change and all. thank god for our fold out diaper changing station ;o).

first time at western bagel for breakfast. yum.

it has been absolutely amazing to see how much he is growing and learning already. we are so blessed to be your parents maximilian!!
