greystone.

last saturday we ran around all day with a veteran beverly hills-ian, johnese's cousin, jeff. we had so much fun hanging out with family, and are sad it took us this long to start getting together! we went to brunch and had some of the MOST delicious food, if you're ever in LA, you must visit bld! after brunch, jeff took us to greystone- a mansion on 365 acres in beverly hills. no one has lived there since the 20's and the grounds are now owned by the state and open to the public.

the property was completely amazing, it was hard to fathom that people actually lived there once upon a time. the pictures definitely do not do justice to its grandeur :o).

thanks to jeff we got so many great pics of our happy family of three (even if our third is hidden away in his stroller) ;o).

gelato was the perfect way to end our fun filled saturday! max was so excited about all the fun that he pooped all over himself and his carseat. thank god we had a backup onesie in the diaper bag ;o). and thank god for the best dad who completely cleaned the carseat after a tiring day- he is truly the GREATEST!

all poop aside... max was perfect all day! he didn't make a peep having to hang in the stroller all day. he seems to do great when we're out and about- he's a man who likes to be out on the town ;o).

so thankful for all of these things we get to experience before we leave the place that has been our home for the past two and a half years :o).
