it's so funny how many people from albuquerque live in l.a. or surrounding areas! we have had so much fun connecting with people from back home. sunday we decided to make it a day at the ballpark. we had a friend and her boyfriend come up from san diego, and another friend from the 505 that wanted to join. for $15 a ticket, it's a great way to spend an afternoon!
after the game we went out for a beer with our friend heather and her boyfriend. we went to a really cool german bar in little tokyo (or tokyo town as i like to call it). they had a huge selection of brews and a really fun atmosphere! we may have to venture down again when we have the appetite for a bratwurst!
on another note, i got some really good news this week! i am officially licensed to teach in california (after waiting on my certification since october), and i have a teaching job for next year! i will be teaching first grade at a private school, and i'm sooo excited!
