happy earth day!

as i was thinking about writing this post i thought, does anyone care about this? then i thought about what a dear friend told me about blogging, it's just as much for you to remember your memories as it is for others to read about them (thanks d!).  so here goes. the other day while shopping around some vintage stores on melrose, i found a really cool jean jacket. the downside was that it had a huge hole in the back. i'm all for the torn look but this looked a little more like someone pulled a fat guy in a little coat move. ry convinced me that we could fix it up and make it look cool, and of course he was right! we had been meaning to shorten the curtains in our bedroom because they were dragging, then i had the brilliant idea that i could use that leftover material to patch my jacket!  hello recycling, hello earth day!
