ry's birthday (long overdue)!

so my very special guy had a birthday almost a month ago!  i can't believe it's taken me so long to post, but better late than never, right?  we had a whole weekend full of celebrations.  friday night we went out to celebrate with our  friends, nikki and shane.  the best thing is we're neighbors, so we walked everywhere as we celebrated ryan!

we decided for ry's actual birthday we would go to disneyland!!  we got a really good deal on some tickets, so we were so excited to head to anaheim for our first time since we've been out here!  ry and i laughed about what a different experience it was since it wasn't scorching hot out!  we were used to being there on vacation with our families, always in the summer.  the weather was beautiful, and disneyland looked so amazing decorated for fall!

we basically ate our way through the park, and ended up staying until 9:00 pm- i'd say we got our money's worth!  we had such an amazing day together, we are so blessed!!

sunday we had a relaxing day at home while i got a birthday dinner ready for ry.  we made homemade pizza and ate early so we could head out into our neighborhood to see all the kids trick-or-treating. we had never seen halloween like this before!  every street was filled with cars and people!!  if we had a kid, this may be the only time i would condone a leash!  there were so many people ry and i had to hold tight to each other so we didn't get separated.  so many houses went all out for the holiday.  there were tons of decos, a house projecting music videos, even a house that had the count from sesame street handing out candy!  it was such a fun, fun, way to end an amazing weekend.  oh and when we got back we had to have birthday cake, of course!
