if at first you don't succeed... knit, knit again.

so this is a good example of what our knitting started out as.

it was a little hard because ry and i were watching a video on youtube, but didn't have a really good idea of the process.  finally we decided we should just keep knitting beyond the first row and see what happened.  somehow things started ironing themselves out, phew!

it was really cool to take pictures as i worked.  i didn't feel like i was doing that much, but the proof was in the pics :).

and my first finished piece, a neck wrap for heidi's birthday!
