24 weeks... aaahhhh!

in a way it's so hard to believe that i've been pregnant for 24 weeks, or the even freakier version... 6 months!! in another way, it feels like forever ago that we first found out. either way, it's so exciting to think we'll meet our little boy somewhere in the neighborhood of 16 more weeks!

i'm still feeling great, and things are really moving along.  ry picks a song to play for the baby every wednesday (which marks our new week), and this morning as the song was playing, the baby was just moving around. so much so, that we could see ry's phone bumping up and down on my belly :o). he must be a music lover like his dad :o). he still seems to be the most active in the morning and at night, but i can definitely feel him throughout the day too. i guess he thinks relax time for me means play time for him ;o). no complaints about that though!! one not-so-exciting pregnancy side effect i've been experiencing- heartburn! luckily it's nothing a few tums can't handle ;o).

another exciting, yet overwhelming baby task happened this last week- registering for baby t!! i have to say, it was a little more overwhelming than we were expecting! i told the people at babies 'r us that they should really have a snack bar in there, we sure could have used it during our three hours of perusing. thank god for our very special (and baby knowledgeable) friend for walking us through this process. i seriously probably would have just started scanning random things and ran out of there if she weren't there to guide us through every section highlighting necessities. 

we are so excited to go home for a visit and share a little piece of this pregnancy with all of those we love so much!! yay- one month and counting...
