a last first.

max's last first holiday- valentine's! call it a hallmark holiday if you will, but us three love taking the day to be a little extra lovey :o). and seriously... cutest valentine EVER, right??

and we love taking the opportunity to spoil our baby one just a bit. although it wasn't love at first sight with the balloons (despite all of his longing from afar at the grocery store), he eventually warmed up and gave them a good swat ;o). he was immediately entranced with olivia though. he loves to crawl to his room, and turn the pages, taking in all of her funny quirks :o).

and our little family of three had some extra love to celebrate this year...
my sister and hans got engaged!! we are so happy for them and can't wait for their summer wedding next year! and i'm so excited to help her plan all the little details, and to get to do that from the same city! yet another reason we're so happy to be back home :o).

the newest addition to our turri/sorenson family. liv ryder made her appearance early valentine's morning. we are so happy for our dearest friends, and can't wait to watch this baby girl grow!
