eight months with max.

what a blessing this sweet baby is. month eight has brought more smiles, more laughs, and a little bit of mischief ;o).

our baby is growing up, and leaving his bunny in the dust.

and he's getting into everything!! the camera looked like something super interesting ;o).

this month also brought some new foods! this boy loves to feed himself, and had a great time inspecting, then eating some cheerios. we've since replaced them with baby cereal puffs... can you say 'nervous mama'??

max loves him some bananas! he likes to cover his face and eat it in privacy ;o).

and this big boy knew right away what to do with a sippy cup! he likes the cup, but is still warming up to the idea of drinking something that's not milk!

this would be a little bit of that mischief ;o).

max's eighth month was one of the busiest months for him, and our little family! we had the pleasure of hosting a woodland themed baby shower for our newest nephew-to-come, sylas dean! sadly, this is the only picture that commemorates anything from the shower. i wish there was a picture of how many people came over to love on jay and kristen's expanding family :o).

max got some quality time with gg and grandad when they came and spent the weekend with us! he also got some qt with grandma and gramps when all of us went to see 'the lion king' at popejoy!

got lots of grandmom, grandpa, and cousin lovin' this month :o). he even got to have his first ever sleep over away from mom and dad!

he had a ball getting to celebrate his most favorite five year old! happy birthday ava rae, and thanks to mitch for the super cool party hat ;o)!!

and this month our babe is finally able to keep shoes on his tiny tootsies ;o).

he was proud of those shoes too, he wanted everyone to see them at brunch :o).

still loving the bath, and chewing on everything with those two teeth! precious baby :o).

max is still getting everywhere on his belly. he gets up on all fours, but then just shoots back down to his belly to scoot on! a belly scooter is not so laundry friendly though ;o/.

he's still sleeping great, and eating a ton, so we are thrilled!
